In a stunning announcement that somehow overshadowed the Dallas Cowboys' release of WR Terrell Owens, the New York Yankees revealed that controversial third baseman Alex Rodriguez will be out of action for 10 weeks because of a torn labrum and a cyst on his right hip.
From our standpoint, the only other person that could have caused ESPN to relatively ignore the Owens situation would have been Tiger Woods.
Maybe tomorrow he will carjack Fuzzy Zoeller in a golf cart.
Only if we're lucky, right ESPN?
